Darkness of Night 01/26/2011
charming, captivating, engaging, enticing the blackest of eyes holds my stare soothing, comforting, satisfying, glorifying the warmest touch caress my skin your stare, it kindles my emotion igniting, provoking hidden passion your whisper, it echoes in my heart radiating, appeasing the silent uproar silently, love sneaks behind terror lingered in a world between worlds forbidden, damned, reality chased me down, in agony you came, lifted me, carried me away from the nightmares of life you sacrificed, redeemed me, saved me took me out from the darkness of night Add Comment Re-tracing My Way Back 10/12/2010
I am being a lazy and a lousy writer right now. I have to apologize to a friend whom I've promised to dedicate a book but failed to accomplish it at the said date. Sorry for not delivering it ASAP. Right now, I'm writing two books so I can keep up with the right mood. Trying my best to listen and write, and not direct and write. Because it's true that when you want your characters to be mold into something you want them to be, they fights back. And they're giving me the silent treatment at this moment. So, I have to stop. Inspire myself until they speak to me again. It's not about mental block. It's about facing a deadend. I have to re-trace back and change details of what I have written. And, little by little, I'm being lead to a better storyline. But then, one wrong statement and I'm lost for words again. Stop directing. That is what I have to bear in mind. Stop directing. A Breath of Hope : Jeanelle's Story 08/19/2010
I finally got it. At last! Inspired again. The words are flowing like water. To jeanelle. I finally got it. I'll let you read it after I'm done. Besides, it's yours. I hope you'll like your character and even love Jonas the way I loved him. He's superb! And he has a crush on you way back then. Basta. I'm so excited! Though what I'm trekking at won't be a tearjerking story, I hope you'll still love it. Give me 'til month end. Ciao! Merging Two Manuscript 08/16/2010
Two of my work in progress MS was hopeless. I just can't give up on them yet because of these cute scenes that I fell in love to. Though I've already forgotten some of the scenes that would help me move forward, I just can't put them to my 'Dumped' folder. One resort I could think of doing is to merge them into one. I'll think of a new plot that would make me keep some of my favorite scenes. That's the only thing I could think of and I hope I'm doing the right thing. Marion's Story is Approved 08/07/2010
I've deleted Marion's Story in the In Progress Section since it is already submitted to PHR and is already approved. It would be published under the title of 'A Breath of Faith' with release date still unknown. I'm looking forward when it would be printed and released. Also, together with one of my previous approved, "April's Fool In Love', in which is not yet released in the market. I'm wondering what's taking it so long but perhaps there's so many pending for released books. I guess all I have to do is wait. =) Second Revision 08/02/2010
Today would be the second revision of my latest MS entitled, A Breath of Faith (Marion the model). I'm thanking MS. Agnes of Phr Editorial Staff for taking her precious time calling me up to discuss another batch of questions I need to re-consider. One more sleepless night that I have to devote on this MS. A mixture of stress and excitement.Well, I have to stop Jonas and Jeanelle's story for this one. I need to make Marion and Raina's story move forward before I focus my emotion to Jonas and Jeanelle's story. (Sorry Jeanelle, your book is going to be delayed.) But, nonetheless, I know going back to Marion and Raina is still as thrilling as how I've felt before. I've missed their fights but, now, I have to stress out on more emotions and passion between them. I could pursuade them to take a step towards fire. ;) Well, I'll try to welcome my muse and start it now. I've put a deadline on it. I need to finish it before friday. Tips # 2 07/01/2010
Pacing
Note: There isn’t a writing rule that hasn’t been successfully broken. The trick is in knowing them, and knowing when to break them. Know when to shift and speed up or slow down your novel’s pacing. Tips # 1 06/29/2010
Why is loving this person the worst thing this character can do at this moment? You can start with this question to build a probable conflict to your story. List all the the things that could hinder their happy ending at the mean time. After listing what comes into your mind, review each one and workout if this reason would beautify your characters' romance story. Empty when not writing 06/22/2010
Sadly, very disappointing, i haven't finish any one of my in-progress list last long vacation. Why? Because I lazily stopped and prioritize watching the television and, also, contemplating everything from nothing in particular. Hay! The disease of daydreaming. But I got myself a new plot. Always a new plot but it never came close to finishing it. I have four in-progress, three that's still dusting in my unfinished folder and two new plot that is tickling me to be prioritized anytime soon. I'm trying my very best to focus my emotion to my current works. From the first on my list to the last. But unluckily, I'm not doing some improvement. I'm here listening to some acoustic music while working in the office and dreaming of going home so I could bug my husband to teach me how to play the song "fireflies" on the guitar. Writing is totally out of my mind now, well, excluding this blog. But hey, this is still writing, right? No? I really need to get back on my feet and work on my in-progress. Why? Because I'm feeling empty when I'm not writing. It felt weird. It was like I am not me. This is not me. I need to get myself back. Get back. Now. |
